| Jack and Uncle Armand |
After spending last night in Sweetwater, TX, we finally headed on down to Uncle Armand's house in Poteet. The kids have been SO excited to see Uncle Armand and Aunt Bev, and couldn't wait to get there. Last year they rode the horses, and were looking forward to doing the same this time.
We arrived late in the afternoon, and Armand already had the grill warmed up for us. He cooked some wild boar and veggies and it was delicious! While we were waiting for supper to get done the kids hula-hooped, played in the dirt and got to just act like kids! Armand's grandson, Cody, was there, so Katie had someone to play with (he was the same age as her). Reese was just happy to see some dirt, and Jack was thrilled to be out of his car seat.

The next morning the kids were up bright and early asking to go ride the horses. It didn't take too long and they were all set to go!
We had an awesome time at Armand's house. I am pretty sure that Katie would live here full time if we would let her! We hated to leave, but had to get down to Beeville to see Grandma. Thanks to Armand and Bev for being such great hosts and letting us come visit! We always love being there!
