I have to say I am proud of my big girl. She made the "All Around All Star" list at school again for the second quarter. That means she made all A's! Hooray! She also got an award for no tardies, but I'm not sure how that happened. She must've snuck into class a time or two!

I'm STUCK!

OK. I've been SO good about not drinking my cokes, I've cut down MAJORLY on what I'm eating, but I have hit a plateau, I suppose. I now weigh what I weighed when I got pregnant with Reese. I am still not in my skinny jeans, but I am too small for my fat jeans. I guess that's a start! I thought if I posted my actual goal and pounds to go I would motivate myself to work on this a little harder.

On a good note! Alyssa and I went to the gym yesterday. We each walked a mile, then we went in for a Circuit Training class. Let me tell you, it KICKED MY BUTT! That was a tough class! It was a lot of fun, though. I saw a lot of the same excercises that we used in Body Pump, but we used hand weights instead of barbell weights. The difference between the Circuit Trainig and Body Pump is that you NEVER stop moving during the CT. There are no rest periods. If you're not doing big stuff you're marching in place at minimum. It was seriously hard, but it was worth it. I am a little sore today, but I'm not going to let that deter me.

Alyssa is coming up in a bit to go to a Beginner Pilates class with me this morning. I've never done pilates, so it will definitely be a learning experience. Watching Alyssa yesterday just motivated me more to get fit and lose this weight. I was small like that at one time! I also had energy like that when I was younger, too. I want to get that kind of energy back, and I know the only way to do it is to work at it.

I am almost halfway to my goal weight, so wish me luck!

Geocaching Pictures

I promised GranMary I would post some more recent pictures of the girls, but I am just now getting around to it.

We have been geocaching our little hearts out! It's been a lot of fun! So far we've found 21 caches, and Katie and I are planning to go again this afternoon if the weather is nice.

The pictures on this slideshow are from a day we spent geocaching on the bicycle trail here in Searcy. We had a ball. It's such good family time!

Dancing Queen

GranMary sent Reese the coolest gift! It is a ballerina dress that has a music player that plays when you dance. It is too cool! Reese loves it! She's my dancing queen!

According to this clock, I have only a little time left before our vacation and LOTS of weight to lose! I'm trying for three pounds a week, so we'll see what happens! My goal is to reach 130 pounds before May 30. I have 19 more pounds to go!

Yipeee!

Geocaching fun

The family and I spent a great weekend learning about a new hobby... Geocaching! We went and bought a GPS Saturday and spent the late afternoon looking for caches. We found several that day, and the bug had bitten! We went out Sunday afternoon, too, and found seven more! It was tons of fun, and a good way to get outside to enjoy the incredible weather!
