Our third day at Uncle Mike's house was spent playing at the pool. Michael had to study for a math exam, so the kids and I went by ourselves today. The kids love playing in the water, no matter what!
We left the pool because a thunderstorm was blowing in, and it wasn't long before it knocked all the power out. We spent the afternoon enjoying the peace of NO TV! The little kids took a nap and Katie spent most of her time playing on her phone. Michael came home shortly after the power went out, then I cooked supper after it came back on. I snuck out of the house without the kids for a quick trip to Wal-Mart after bedtime and stocked up on essentials. We'll be hitting the road again tomorrow!
