The Rundown: When we got up (rather late, today) the luge was running again. We saw a ton of kids in school uniforms riding down the hill. I was afraid that Katie was in for another day of disappointment, but when we went down to inquire it turned out that it was actually open! Yay! We immediately bought tickets for David and the girls. Because of my 'delicate condition' I was not allowed to ride, but I did enjoy watching them come down the hill. Both the girls and David thought the luge was fantastic! They rode a total of three times each, and would've ridden much more if it hadn't been so expensive. Reese had to ride with David, but she didn't care. She thought it was great!
After riding the luge we headed into the village for lunch. We had pizza at Ya'ooo Pizza Bar because it was close to the swim club. The pizza was OK, not great, but the girls' behavior was once again atrocious! Reese played with her drink until she managed to dump it all over me. Katie kept fighting with Reese and screaming at her. I was so sick of both of them by the end of the meal! We hurried through lunch then even though the girls didn't really deserve it, we headed over to Aquaclub la Source for some swimming. They had a great pool with a jumping rope, a tarzan swing, a kiddie pool and a bridge across the big pool. I sat in a chair and read my book while David, Katie and Reese swam and played. We ended up staying for over two hours, which is a LONG time at the pool!
We were hoping to totally wear the girls out so they'd go to sleep, but, of course, their stamina was much more than ours! We got back to the room around 7:30pm and just lounged around the hotel and snacked for dinner. We watched a little television then finally crashed around midnight. We decided that for our last night in Tremblant that we'd all sleep downstairs. David and I took the Murphy bed and put the girls on the fold out couch. It was wonderful to sleep with the windows open. The cool mountain air gave me the best rest I'd had since we got to Canada. I wish we'd slept there for the whole trip! It was HOT upstairs!
